Quilt for my grandson using men's ties. Another quilt I haven't tried
before. Had to stabilize all the ties because they were silk.
Everything worked out fine, and it went together very easily.
Made this one for my daughter out of pieces that mom had cut out years ago and saved. They were from clothes that she had made for herself and her sister from the late 1960's. Almost vintage!
Made for my grand-daughter as her University grad gift. I called it "Graduating Colors". Fabric was purchased in Alaska when we were on a cruise. Pattern was from Easy Quilts magazine , designer was Gwen Brown. It was quilted with a fireworks pattern .
In August of 2013, I made this quilt for my very first great granddaughter. Her mother chose out the colours and I got to work once we found out it was a girl.
